The dining table seats up to 6 people. Beyond that the sitting area features two generous leather sofas from where you can choose to either watch the 65-inch smart tv, read a book, or simply take in the westerly view out of the gable-end large patio door window.
The Hen Hoose living area is heated by oil-fired underfloor heating and a Jøtul wood-burning stove which makes it extra cosy and warm when the wild weather hits in the colder months and the perfect backdrop to enjoy a locally sourced gin or whisky.
The master bedroom has one King sized bed dressed in high quality hotel standard linen. There is a hanging built-in wardrobe and drawers with mirror. An ironing board, hairdryer and tv are also provided.
This bedroom faces the rear of the property looking out to the fields beyond and is entirely private and not overlooked. Black-out blinds ensure a restful sleep even when the long summer days allow little darkness.
The main bedroom ensuite features a walk-in wet room with Axor rain shower and a double-ended Duravit bath. Towels and complimentary toiletries are provided. An electric shaver point is fitted and a luminated, anti-misting mirror.
A King-sized link-zip bed gives the choice of a double or twin sleeping arrangement in this room.
This bedroom faces the front of the property but again is private and not overlooked. There are a set of drawers and a tv.
The ensuite for this bedroom also has a walk-in, wet room shower and as in the master ensuite includes a heated towel rail and underfloor heating.
For convenience there is a stylish separate WC accessible off the main hallway. Ideal for any visitors and to maintain the privacy of the ensuites for the residing guests.
The property is accessed via a 100m driveway shared only with the owners and set back away from the main road.
The Hen Hoose is detached and situated a short distance behind the owners' home but separated by a barn and therefore out of vision, not overlooked and entirely private.
There is substantial exclusive parking right outside the Hen Hoose front door. A generous lawned garden surrounds the house with a drying area. The exterior is well lit and garden furniture and barbecue facilities are provided.
A Caithness flagstone patio with seating is also accessible from the living room from which to enjoy the view.
